A “Just Because” Gift Guide

What fun we’d miss out on if we only showered our friends in gifts and encouragement on their birthdays and holidays. If you’re anything like me, you probably hang onto cards and treats that friends gave you during a hard week, a last-minute dinner date, or a weeknight walk. As we roll into a new season and Fall starts creeping in, I have gathered a few spontaneous reasons to gift your friends some encouragement (and the goods to do it, too).

For the friend that hosts:

We all have those friends who always open their living room or back porch to a cup of coffee and a few friends. A little surprise encouragement can go a long way to those who treat their homes like our homes. A new, colorful tea towel, notepad, or frameable card can add color and encouragement to their spaces. Best paired with a thrifted flower vase, fresh blooms, or a picture frame.

For the “on the go” friend:

A little something for the friend who has a full schedule, but still needs a little bit of sunshine. These colorful goodies say “I see you and I’m rooting for you” to the friend walking through long days. Give them a little color to take on the go! I suggest slipping in a gift card to their favorite coffee shop.

For the friend who needs a pick-me-up:

Who doesn’t want flowers, bear hugs, and bright colors on a hard day? These goodies say “You got this” to the friend who you want to cheer on. A note of encouragement can bring sunshine to the friend who needs a pick me up.
